It is my fond duty to open the Knavecon Raffle for Knavecon XX. We need something special to kick off this return to gaming and it doesn’t get much more special than THIS

This is a First edition A Study in Emerald, out of print for nearly a decade and fetching prices of €200 and more (and less, but more as well for sure). Not just a collector’s dream this is a REALLY good game, one you should own and one you should play.

KNAVECON 16 – FAQ

When and Where

Knavecon 16 will be on on the 11th September 2021 in the Level Up Arcade Bar and Restaurant in Limerck

What’s it all about

It’s a get together not unlike a boardgame night but for a longer period and with more people. We bring a large library of boardgame and you can take any of them to play. Grab a table, grab some buddies or jump in with other other people, it’s a very friendly environment. By all means bring your own games if you fancy something in particular. People come from all around the country so it’s a great place to meet other gamers and above all talk shite. We will provide free coffee for the day

Venue

The event is being held for the first time in the Level Up Arcade Bar and Restaurant in Limerick. There’s a full bar, restaurant and the place is stacked with pinball and vintage arcade machines if you need a break from gaming

Events and Timetable

Knavecon is a freeform event, you play what you want and come and go as you please a ticket will grant you access to the event for the day. There is only one fixed event and that is the Grande Raffle which takes place at 5pm. Don’t miss it, buy tickets, it’s amazing

Cost

The cost of entry is €18 for the whole day and includes coffee, if you’re a student or unwaged we’ll do it for €10. Tickets can be bought in advance for both the Event and the Raffle.

Knavecon 16 Grande Raffle part 6

So we’ve reached this point already in the Grande Raffle when we add the piece of resistance. I give you the deluxe version of… SIN CITY THE BOARD GAME

Not for the casual gamer, this game speaks volumes about your interests, featuring artwork AND writing AT THE SAME TIME! Sin City is one of those games that has it all. Up to 6 players can stand around it. Unlike most games it can be placed in the centre of the table. the VERY centre. Invite friends over to look at it (not for too long there’s a hazard warning on the lead pieces so keep contact to a minimum). The game is 18+ age group so you know it’s racy before you win it. In the past winners have returned this game saying things like (but not actually) “It’s too much game for me”, “I thought I could handle it” and “Doctor’s say I could get the use of my fingers back eventualy”
